Job Title: Junior Proposal Writer – European Programs

About Us:
Medin is a non-profit organization providing humanitarian and development aid, focusing on the support of unaccompanied minors, social care, mental health, aducational and healthcare services. We seek a Junior Proposal Writer to assist in securing funding through European programs such as AMIF, CERV, Erasmus+, and other relevant funding opportunities.
Job Overview:
As a Junior Proposal Writer, you will support the development of grant proposals and funding applications for European programs. You will collaborate with our team to research funding opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and ensure compliance with donor guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Writing & Development:
- Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing grant proposals for EU-funded programs (e.g., CERV, Erasmus+, AMIF).
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure proposals align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Contribute to writing concept notes.
Research & Funding Opportunities:
- Identify and analyze relevant funding calls on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and other donor platforms.
- Conduct background research on funding opportunities, donor priorities, and eligibility criteria.
Project Coordination & Compliance:
- Assist in collecting and organizing documentation required for applications.
- Ensure proposals meet donor guidelines, compliance requirements, and submission deadlines.
- Work with different departments (finance, programs, legal) to gather necessary information.
- Maintain records of submitted proposals and track application statuses.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, European Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Previous experience (internship, academic, or work-related) in proposal writing, grants management, or EU funding applications is desirable.
- Understanding of European funding programs (e.g., Erasmus+, CERV, AMIF) is an asset.
- Experience in NGOs, social projects, or humanitarian organizations is a plus.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to summarize complex information concisely.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
